Dunno, every player reacts differently on winning or losing. Humble or nor humble. But its a bit too harsh to call Chen Long arrogant. This win obviously meant more for him, then it would for LCW. He probably worked his ass off for this...and luck was a bit on his side too. He knows he earned the win by his hard work, probably still knowing LCW is overall a more skilled player. But they all fight to be the best ain it? U wanna feel better then ur opponent if u win...he earned it.

LOOK at how little space chen long gives lcw on the podium at 58:26..sign of pure arrogance unlike lcw. For this simple reason lcw will always be the symbol of badminton!

@Jimbei1993 but they were overwhelmed they were hammered in that final, all she did was compliment them on everything they did even when it went out or was completely wrong, where as with an other pair she would of critisized their execution and consistency.

@911chinkie If you're an english coommentar I think it's not too uncommon to root for your own country a bit more. I also think she did was she knew that the british were the outsiders and she was trying to explain that these things the british pair did were the right things but with wrong execution, while she sort of expected the chinese pair to know what they had to do, because they're more used to the big occasions. She wanted to show that the british pair wasn't overwhelmed. :3

@911chinkie I agree, when I watched it I couldn't believe she kept complimenting Imogen Bankier on every single shot she played - even if it was a horrendous error or just an invitation for the Chinese players to finish the rally. It was always "the right idea" or "the right thing to do"....and Chris Adcock's weak smash became a "tactical play", "just keep the shuttle going down" =,="

But apart from that particular match, she's usually quite fair and an awesome commentator =)

What's wrong with you people condemning LCW after 2 losses.....it means he finished SECOND twice. More than LD achieved. And more than PG, TH, or anyone else other than CL achieved. And if you look at their performance over the last year, there is no question of who's Number 1. And Chen Long got beaten more often by LCW anyway ôÔ
