You've got some good videos, and make some valid points. Just one thing to add tho, on the running drills such as high knees, you need to dorsi-flex the ankle during the recovery phase. This will massively reduce the the likelihood of any injures such as anterior compartment syndrome etc. Also it will help to hips to drive through reducing any breaking effect that might occur. Phil
I used to watch my school's athletes training like those tutorials you'd made when i was a slow sprinter. Couldn't participate that time. But wow! I've found your channel. A lot of useful tutors (: . It'd been long time to remember how the athletes were training.
@Luraj7 Depth jumps are very good for absorbing and your plyos for explosiveness.. Great workout, but if done incorrectly it's very dangerous. For experienced athletes only.
@sjurinho not at all, make sure the ground contact is minimum, and that you touch something thats above you, and then higher the goal as you progress, another GREAT exercise is shock jumps, youll find em in most elite jump programs like project vertical and boingvert. what you do is climb to the height of your vertical and then step off and land on ONE LEG and "stick" the landing for 2 seconds, then climb back up, the more power you absorb, the more power you can output, 4 reps and 5 sets
