  • Genuine proof that steam locomotives are not just machines... They are living, breathing beasts!

    Marvelous video!

  • That whistle matches the 5 very well. A single chime is her type of whistle being the fact she is the oldest operating shay.

  • Marvellous machines. The stack looks like the one used on wood-fired engines in Finland.

  • Don't let the EPA see these videos or they'll figure out a way top shut them down too!

  • I loved it when all the locomotives, both steam and diesel, communicated with each other in the end.

  • loved it at the end when you see the f7 unit at the end of that fright line

  • 4:04 Echo;Priceless!

  • @RoyLoo2 It's not a cog railway. This is:

  • What's with the ball bearing truck at 5:15?

  • This seems to be a complex forging machine ...

... never seen here in Europe (not even in the Alps, where a gearbox design would have been advantageous - rack-and-pinion gear exceptionally)

And such an old and impressive design ...

Since there are many lubrication points? ;)

  • These are okay... I like the traditional steam locomotives better though, they look nicer IMO.
