I thought where the manifolds y merge was the first Cat. Did you replace that with a plain Y?
I've listen to a few where they simply replaced the muffler with a 3inch straight pipe and it's sounds deep and rumbles nice. I'm looking for deep with a rumble, but not loud.
Thanks.

Thanks for sharing. I can't tell - did you remove the muffler and both Cats?

Not sure what the outlet colletor is? I thought that was the first Cat where the manifolds Y merge. Did you cut out that first Cat (or whatever that is) and replace with plain Y?
I'm wondering if it might sound deeper (not lounder), If I just remove my muffler and replace with a straight 3 inch back.
Google search "Cyberpine F150 Picasa" for my pics.

I just made so it goes from the dual downpipes into a single pipe it's kind of what the stock setup does but a little tweaked when everything is welded up i'll get a good vid so you can see what i'm talking about.
well its hard too say whether it would be deeper because with just a straight pipe it will be louder, You probably don't want to get rid of your cats so if i were you i would gut your cats out weld em back in and put a flowmasters or thrush it will give a deep tone.

no it was on for a while but i had a vaccum problem. as long as you don't have o2 sensors after or on your cats you can go straight pipe no problem.
