Constant Payne - Pilot

CONSTANT PAYNE is an animated television pilot written and produced by Micah Wright for Nickelodeon. The show never aired due to post-9/11 concerns about violence in children's media. Before 9/11, the network didn't think that an action show about a single parent whose wife was killed by terrorists "reflected reality." After 9/11, I guess they thought it reflected it all too well.

EPIC PHAIL NICKELODEON. if they had altered or removed that scene with the twin Buildings at 3:43, this show could've seen the light of day, and maybe several seasons. *Sigh* we need more cartoons like this instead of CRAP like Back at the Barnyard.

They can't hide reality from children forever,they will notice even if it is violence.

Boring cartoons SUCK animators are trying there best not to show cartoons or animations that are not suitible for certain age groups and thats why Anime and Manga are popular because their not boring,their not afraid to animate thing like Karate Kung fu ect,they can edit the anime in lots of different ways and not many people make a fuss about ''reality'' and ''violence''.

it just pisses me off that a show with so much potential got the finger just because of one freakin' scene! WTF Nick!!!! editing is easy, cheap, and can be done in a day, canceling is hard, expensive, and take weeks. EPIC FAIL!!!!

@dekaranja: Mighty B is funny, you got to admit. At least we still have the new Spider-Man show, the Batman show, the Star Wars show, The Secret Saturdays, Metajets, Ben 10, Iron Man, Young Justice, The Avengers, etc.
