@ThirdChoiceVideos First off, I don't need an English lesson from you or anyone else. Secondly, you are mistaken if you think shoplifting is a victimless crime. Shoplifting causes merchants to raise their prices to offset their losses, which in turn, costs consumers more; consumers are the victims of shoplifting. Finally, breaking the law, even with good intentions such as feeding your family, is still breaking the law. This is not about xenophobia, this is about our laws.

Illegals who are already here and who pay taxes, are law abiding and are productive members of society should be given the chance to become citizens. It will cost the country a lot of money (which we don't have) to deport all of them. Illegals who break the law and who are here simply to get the dole outs should not be given a chance to become citizens. These are the ones who should be deported. The borders should be secured in order to stop the further influx of more illegal aliens.

We need to enforce or apply the E-VERIFY in all the states and legalize the ones that are already here, because deporting them will cost a lot of money to the were country. Because the come for work and so enforcing the E-VERIFY nobody can work illegally. IF THEY CAN'T WORK THEY WON'T COME ANYMORE!!!

@goru426 demonizing ? are you kidding me. They have no right to be here period, its not like they want to be americans, there are coming here in a massive wave of millions demanding rights and killing americans every day. I am guessing you dont keep up too much with current events
"Illegals who are already here and who pay taxes, are law abiding..." Really? How can you be illegal and be law-abiding at the same time? And by the way, they do not pay taxes other than sales taxes when they spend what little money they have left after sending it to Mexico where it is used to pay the coyotes to truck more illegals across the border. There is a LEGAL way to come here and swimming the Rio Grande or sneaking in through a sewer tunnel is not it.

@jpb219 - People are not "Illegals". Illegal is and adjective, not a noun. It is a term used mostly by reactionaries to stir up angry xenophobes. If you do one illegal act, say shoplift, and ten years go by...are you an "Illegal"? They did one illegal act, no victim, ten years ago. Most come here and get a job, obey the law, and pay taxes. People should not break the law but have you ever seen "Les Miserables"? Where the parolee breaks the window to get bread because he is starving?

The fact is, we have X amount of people wanting to come to the US and work, and Y amount being let in; and X is ten times larger than Y. If we had a guest worker program, we could let these people in very quickly, with minimal beauracracy. As i have said, I feel 99% of them just want to come here and work, so let's set up a system that lets them. One of the very, very few things I agreed with George W. Bush was the guest worker program. But the xenophobic reactionaries shut him down.

We need a guest worker program. They are not trying to come here to blow shit up, they are coming here to work.
