OK, it wasn't the best Comedy/Family/Fantasy movie I've seen but it was very funny and entertaining. I love Adam Sandler very much but I wouldn't say he was the best here - Richard Griffiths, Keri Russel, Teresa Palmer and Guy Pearce were brilliant. Russell Brand can't act but his role didn't need much talent. I wish my lovely Lucy Lawless and Courteney Cox had much more screen time!!!
This movie is great and a bit underrated (just like Stardust)

Adam Sandler is an actor not a celebrity. its a pain in the ass being famous. mostly because you have pushy self important people demanding you write your name on a peice of paper everywhere you go. if i were him i wouldnt have given you one either. as for your perception of him... have you even followed his career? hes usually portrayed as an angry prick most of the time so whats the fucking suprise.
