This is a 4 minute promo for the Vintage American clothing store "Flip" which is based on Westgate Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne.

In business since 1978, Flip owner John Woods
(long time Drummer from Junco Partners and Vinegar Joe.) has been importing Genuine American Clothing throughout that time and has built up a strong identity and reputation in the North East. Come along to our store on Westgate Road,over the road from the Newcastle Opera House, Newcastle and see the leading supplier of American clothing in the North East.

Flip has a long history in Newcastle , having been around in one place or another since the 70's. Following a trip to, John, the owner, noticed how many people were interested in the clothes he had bought for himself in the States. The rest, as they say, is history. Flip opened in the 1970's and has been going strong ever since. The shop stocks a range of "All American" clothing, including Western shirts, printed T-shirts as well as work shirts and Levi's for the Emo boys and Springsteen fans amongst you. In amongst the railings lie true vintage beauties that are too good to miss; a 1930's horsehide jacket, 1950's loop shirts and true vintage Levi's. There is also a smaller range of ladies clothing, with the general focus on 1950's inspired tea dresses and mohair jumpers. Flip harks back to a golden era when cigarettes were good for you, Saturday night was spent at the drive-in and rock and roll had just begun.

Is this the same flip that used to be open in Glasgow a few years ago? It also sold American clothing, I remember a lot of new big named brand stuff in stock tho, such as dickies, atticus, macbeth.. that sort of stuff.
