  • @faYte0607 Not being rude or anything, but protein will denature back into its primary/ secondary stages whenever extreme heat comes in contact with it. Meaning... Protein will denature when you start to digest it since your body is about 96 degrees. Denaturing it doesn't mean it is destroying it; just reversing it back to its orginal state, which your body needs. Credentials: Biology/ Chem. Major. Hope this helps.

  • High heat denatures whey protein. i wouldn't mix whey protein into anything, be it pancakes, brownies, protein bars, etc... just to be safe. Wikipedia says 72c heat is when whey protein denatures.

  • @101Beautyandmakeup do everything he said, but put it in a blender with 1/2 cup of rolled oats and a little bit of cinnamon. adds 25 carbs (very good complex carbs) but gives it a much more pleasant texture
