It's more of a case of people seeing the tip of the iceberg and believing that's the whole thing.

If it can change a person's response to irrational fear, it can certainly change their response to paper napkins flying in the air.

I saw a girl once and hypnosis was used on her as a treatment to get rid of a phobia or so. She says that making people to do something under simple hypnosis is impossible - these shows are all about actors and entertainment.

I'm not sure if it was Ricky Kalmon but at 4:30 in the morning for project grad he or another hypnotist with the very same performance did it for us....it was so fucking FUNNY!!!! We DIED laughing!!! Its funny because everyone is sorta acting everything they are told to do but at the beginning they are hypnotized into relaxation and at the end he pops them out. Even though they realize what they're doing, they forget it completely once they pop out! its incredible!
