  • Well silver760, if you can do better in producing a transmission for a drivable replica tank that is easy for the average bloke to build, then spend hundreds of hours filming and editing free videos so people can enjoy this hobby then we would be truly grateful. I now lay down this challenge to you or is arrogance and rubbishing other peoples work the only thing you are good at!!!

  • my goodness, Dave!

I admit when I watched one of your very early videos I thought you wouldn't do it to the finished tank.

and now, instead, it's your second project growing up awesome!!

please, continue posting videos, you're really doing great!!

  • Plenty more still to come, so keep watching mate.

  • i have a quistion i am currently building my own tank and am fairly far down the road with it and i had an idea for a drive system because i only have about 50 bucks to spend i would put two 8 HP motors with centrifugal clutches on each one and have seperate axles with chains connected to the clutches and the throttle would be used by two levers like in a real tank would appreciate some help.

  • mate, you're LEGEN - wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant - DAIRY.

    Cheers

  • @MsRihannababy if u watch th video about belts u wouldnt ask STUPID questions.

  • What you could try for other scaled down tanks are transmissions for zero-turn mowers, there small and each can carry over 400 pounds of load, the only modification would be to change the size of the pully and modify the levers for different controls :) You can find very bare-bone ones on the internet that work pretty good.

  • hey this is my first try at a warfare video come check it out on my channel

  • @silver760 What is wrong with his engineering?? He has put this together taking alot of time and care and carefully engineered designs. Appearance is nothing? Its about functionality here; which, it is perfectly functional. And i know your comment is two years old.. oh well.

  • @Gizmo4t this is a great job here i dont care what anyone says Gizmo4t. you do excellent work and these haters just wish they could do this. thank you for posting!

  • i am not going to build one of these, but this fascinating to watch. good work.
