This song makes me wanna mosh=) a viewer mentioned I should try to do a rock song, something out of my element. This song was 3 Doors Down's breakthrough hit. I've always enjoyed the songwriting of 3 Doors Down. They've proven their staying power because of it. Brad Arnold is believe to write his songs behind the drums, the only place he says he can comfortably write songs in. For me, if you can hum a melody and put some lyrics over it, you're already writing a song. You could do this while driving a car, walking in the park, on a train, on a plane...wherever. I carry with me a phone with a text editor/sound recorder, if i find a memorable lyric/melody, I can always make a note of it. I've written many songs this way. Cause You never know when songwriting happens=)

that's pretty good! i admire anyone who can play guitar. cuz i'm a piano player and tried learning guitar, it was hopeless lol and you have a good voice

It's all opinion...mine is that you have a good voice. You seemed a little rushed at the beginning so you might what to calm it down. You also tended to lose your breath...don't know if that was done on purpose or not but over all I like it. No one should expect you to sound like the original on here but you did a good job. Anyway...sorry that it took so long to get back to you...lifes been throwing me a few curves so had to deal w/those but keep it up. Nice job! look forward to hearing more.
