Airbrush colors used are KROMA KOLORS brown and black. you can use any edible airbrush food color brand.
Wait for the gumpaste to dry a bit before you start painting. Wait for several hours to make the painted on surface DRY completely. If you are going to use it as a topper , like in the one I made, make it a week ahead :)

  • Hello Mayen!

I'm going to make my first fondant cake for my son's 1st birthday. I was wondering how far in advance can I make it. And if I make the cake the day before, could I put it in the refrigerator or should I just leave it out on the counter over night. Oh yeah, and would the fondant melt?? Thanks! (Oops, I know I wrote this on ur channel too, but I retype it here just so it's easier to reply back to me.)

  • @seanpha you can make the cake days before... and keep in the fridge ( after you put icing on it ) and wrap it in clear wrap if it needs to stay there for several days. once the fondant is on there, it's better to keep the cake out of the fridge until it is served. fondant will get sticky if you refrigerate it. you have until 2 days for the cake to be decorated until the event day--- all cake leftovers should be refrigerated

  • Hi Mayen. Gr8 vid. Is this painting like foodcolouring? Could you eat this later on without getting sick or something? Thanks alot. :)

  • @Lisen99 yup, it's food color :) and it's made specifically for airbrushes
