  • I really want to buy this book now.

  • Thank you Dr. Dyer , I always learn so much from you .

  • I have always respected Dr. Wayne Dyer and enjoyed his books over the years. My own personal understanding of Source has been my guide for a long time. It was not like any religion or belief system. When the Tao Te Ching came into my hands, I was surprised to learn that the book was my belief. I really enjoyed Dyer's book on the Tao Te Ching.

It is nice to read such pleasant comments that others have shared.

  • A new version of Lao Tzu's The Tao Te Ching is available as a free app for iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch at AppStore. Search for "TaoOfWisdom" and you'll find "TaoOfWisdom - Lao Tzu's The Tao Te Ching

This work concentrates not on the words but in the meaning; the message, what is being relayed, behind the words. It does so, sometimes with subtlety, sometimes bluntly, but always as poetry, as the Tao Te Ching is poetry, a poem about the 'Tao' or 'The Way.' The Way that is beneath all existence."

  • @joseph82069 The people that convinced you there was a god were also fallible, as you say.

  • @joseph82069 What would you say about a philosophy that says you are a piece of crap, unable to solve your own problems or be happy. Would you say it is a healthy philosophy?

  • @tdp1909 I appreciate you separating the mysticism from Christianity - I happen to believe that the mystic origin makes even the ethical pronouncements VERY problematic, like the idea that sacrifice is an inherent good, or that we must turn the other cheek - I find these to be evil ideas.

  • @joseph82069 It would be better if there actually was a Jesus. I will have to get my love from me.

  • My bit of wisdom for Taoists - Taoism helps you stay serene and happy in all circumstances. BUT, it does not mean you have to stop wanting things passionately. This is what Buddhism would suggest. Rather, Taoists GET WHAT THEY WANT with less effort and less anxiety. The serenity leaves you with extra mental energy that feels more creative in nature. I like to use both Taoism and Objectivism together. Objectivism to decide what is ethical. Taoism to keep expectations realistic and effort focused

  • @skullhoof you are right it is tao chicken
