The most famous timeout in collegiate sports history costs him and the fab five a shot at the 1993 NCAA championship.
They lost 77-71. How did that timeout have such a big effect on the outcome of the game? It's not like they were tied or anything or down by one. Why is this such a big deal? NC got the technical AND the ball. Then they got fouled on the inbounds and hit both free throws. That timeout basically gave NC 4 points.
