omg aww!! how much bigger did they get? and does there life get shortened because they are so small??

i love chihuahuas and have one myself but it breaks my heart how people breed them to be so small because that's what will make the most money. that causes massive health problems for them and shortens their life span by years. i have a deerhead chihuahua which is the original breed, before all the micro itty bitty how big of a head to body ratio can we get before its neck snaps. mine will live to be 20 years old. that thing will cough and have a hernia.

What is wrong with the puppy's right front leg? So-called 'teacup' puppies are generally unhealthy and only live a small fraction of the lifespan of their breed. It is what happens when you breed unhealthy runts with unhealthy runts. Yes, cute, but even more cruel. And the prices asked (and amazingly received) for these genetic defects are truly ridiculous.
