I watched this when I was 10 years old on TV.

I am dying to watch it again. Where can we get it?

Quick before the new movie comes out.

Ernest was a real actor. God love him and Vince.

I would rather watch a 2 minute clip of this movie than hours of all the other mega million dollar junk that's out today. Thanks for posting!

I've lived in WI my entire life. With the exception of a little over 6 years in the Marines. I can't believe they never showed this alot here atleast. Why hasn't ABC? Or Espn or NFL Films gotten this restored & put out on dvd! I would had loved to see it introduced/commentary by Ernest too. I'm shocked this wasn't a regular theater movie made way back in the early 70's after Lombardi pasted away. He was a living legend!

I dunno if Vince really said these things or not.

But I think it captures his spirt and passion very well.

Man, I wish I could see this movie in its entirety. This was one of Borgnine's best performances, although it wasn't one of his most noted, largely because it was a made-for-TV movie. RIP Ernie.

One of the BEST made for t.v. movies ever. I'm glad to see the Ernest Borgnine fans honoring him. by remembering this "Great" movie. I think it was around 1976. I just remember seeing this on t.v. and thinking Wow!...I was glued to an awesome portrail of Vince Lombardi by an awesome actor. He was a great. R.I.P. Ernest Borgnine. I have never seen a film with Ernest Borgnine that wasn't anything but outstanding......Very sad to see him go. But very happy he stayed aroun to "95"..

I can't believe I never saw this. I was 11 or 12 when this aired. I was a tv junkie beside's a Ernest Borgnine & hard core Packer / Lombardi fan. I watched the Ice Bowl with my dad on tv in jan of 67. I hope I can find this on dvd & Lombardi's grandson coaches the Packers one day! Go Packers!
