yes, the business cycle will be on it's climb and everything will improve. These heroes are getting more done

The video did not show one sign held by these brave people. One person was interviewed on camera. It was "an interesting day" was the comment. No mention of the issues or questioning why people were arrested at all. Are PWD not entitled to demonstrate on a public sidewalk? Is this part of the change that Obama brings? No free speech for PWD?

To leahbethm: Yeah, glad we waited for real change. You were wrong, we were wrong and, the good news is, those folks are still in the streets "making noise". Reform my foot.

Thanks tor taking the time to stop and film this protest. And thanks for keeping the comments open.
This is largely a civil rights issue, but most folks confuse it with health care, or dissability. The issue is, should people lose their civil rights when they become disabled?
Do people with disabilities have a rightb to choose where to live?
Do they have a right to liberty? To make decisions for themselves?

what is PWD?

Obama may be working on health care reform but not on improving health care delivery. He is certainly not focused on improving the quality of life of PWD. Protest is the only way to draw attention to abuses. Obama's team listens to those with money and power. PWD have neither.

Obama is working on his campaign and his image. His Attorney General speaks about racism calling Americans cowards, but not about denial of basic rights of PWD. Obama is a self-serving fraud like other Harvard lawyers.

If you bet you may lose. Human Services Corporations are focused on income for their corporations. Rights of PWD are an issue only during budget hearings for gov't entities. PWD are exploited by corporations, health care professionals, lawyers and state agencies which are often lobbyists for corporate interests.
You can bet that every business or organization in the country involved with healthcare is pushing the administration full-time on these sorts of issues. They're not "being patient." Should activists be any different?
