Mitchum Hardest Custodial Worker in America

This is my Husband Thomas Beaumont he is 64 years old & I think he is the Hardest Custodial worker in America! This is just a tiny tibit of what Thomas does everyday! There are 4 hallways that have to be sweeped then moped each day. His staircase is from the top of the third floor to the basement ,there are often messy spills that track all over he has to scrub them.Thomas has a scraper to remove daily deposts of gum.The bathrooms are often filled with feces on the floor ,tissues with feces and urine on the floor .Sometimes there is graffite that has to be cleaned up in the bathrooms and halls.There is always spills in classrooms and the halls.There is no free coffee or cold water or air conditioning. He works all year when the schools are closed he is NOT off, he is in the school cleaning. In the winter when is snows he is out there sholving ,in the summer when it over 100 he is in the schools getting them ready for Sep, and there is no Air Conditioning.He is standing on his feet all 8 hours there is no sitdown time nothing a custodial worker does can be done from a chair.This is hard labor and he does it all with a smile on his face.Thomas is a very friendly,kind and caring person who does a thankless job that is often frowned upon,but without people like him the schools would be filthy and full of germs. My grandfather was a school custodian for the schools, so I can personally testify to how hard their job is, how hard and long they work, and how most of them have friendly and kind demeanors, as well. How do you think those sidewalks were cleared of snow in the winter before you arrived? Who cleaned up ...when you threw up lunch and left for the rest of the day? Why were the lights on at night and on school holidays? Who emptied ALL the garbage and scraped all the gum off things?
