@mrselfister Our Constitution mandates that "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech." However, I realize that not many within our federal government do not actually obey it. In addition, I'm not claiming that "freedom of speech" extends on to private property. We end up with "Free Speech Zones" like the one in this video because nobody is willing to challenge them. During Bush's administration people were sent to the free speech zones based on the shirts they were wearing

@john2knj wanna test that theory?

Are they nuts?!?? The entire United States is a FREE SPEECH ZONE!

Don't know why you kept dissing the turnout - it's not bad for a very early presidential debate. How many people showed up for the other seven candidates?

THANK YOU! It says on his page that he was at the Ron Paul head quaters in New York during the first debate and that he thought the supporters were amazing.

@RonPaulSwede I'm 99% sure that the Swedish reporter is Dagens Nyheters politics reporter, Martin Gelin. He has a blog at Dagens Nyheters website (I'd post a link to his blog, but Youtube doesn't allow people to post links in comments)

What words do these legislators not understand - "Congress shall make no law" ?

Stand in that "zone" thinking you have FREE speech?
Talk about civil disobedience, in the "Zone"?
As if anywhere outside that zone free speech is prohibited?
As if being in that zone somehow makes a difference?
In any country with the first amendment, a "free speech zone" makes a statement all by itself.

Can Ron Paul be President? Only if WE give it our all. Unless you give your time, talent and money to this cause don't expect it to happen. Dr. Paul can't do it alone. It's your life, your future. Decide and then live with that decision.
The Founding Fathers pledged "our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor". It will take nothing less today. Unless we are willing to go big we may as well stay home and wait for the worst. Let's just do it. Give generously of your time, talents and money.
