http://dailydance.net http://lifeartmastery.com Daiyusan Saijoji ("Large Masculine Mountain Peak Ride Temple"--rough translation) is devoted to the legendary forest spirit called Tengu considered to be an all powerful creator here. The forest spirit was worshiped here long before this temple was built about 600 years ago. This place is near the town of Yamakita (North Mountain) where Maureen momo Freehill lived for 1.5 years in the Japanese countryside. This daily butoh dance is inspired by the place, spirits and memories here. Thanks to Asazaki Ikue for music and Miki for camera.

  • Can you please tell what is this song called? I know it´s Asazaki Ikue's!

  • I've been to Daiyusan Saijoji several times, always in June during the rainy season when the ancient forests around the temple are filled with blooming ajisai (hydrangeas). What a magical place!
