@FiIipp: Hey, I´m going to Haliburton Forest next week to start my internship for the summer. As more I see and read (like your comment) I look forward to my time there.
@driventosustain: Awesome video! Great job!

@lonsktube I think you missed the message here. There ARE good forestry standards and practices. And you're correct, many places in the world are not employing them. Forestry IS a sustainable resource and is maintained accordingly in many parts of North America... especially Canada. I wish I could say the same for many other places on earth, but we'll get there.
P.S.
Haliburton (a place in Ontario) forest, is one of the most healthy forests in Canada and is actively logged.

Forestry is a sustainable resource "[I]f maintained correctly"...
That's the problem.
It is not maintained correctly.
Nearly everywhere forestry industries just wreck the joint, tell bullshit, pillory anyone who dissents: then they take the cash, chuck the Komatsu in the creek and piss off to Vegas.
Come to Tasmania Pal, and you will see I am only slightly exaggerating.
I must apologise though, I misunderstood this to be the company Halliburton, who will do anything for a buck.

@lonsktube Who's Lying, Peter, us?
Thanks Tyson, great video and message. Reminds me of the time I had in Haliburton Forest. You should ask Peter Schleifenbaum, if its okay to mention his Forest and himself here. Could be a good advertisement for his susatinable project.
Greetings from Germany

@FiIipp Hey Filipp! Thanks, Peter should be fine.. I sent it to him plus he signed a model release! We were fortunate he gave us such a long interview considering how busy he is.
