I often wonder why KOMO used that slogan, but it sure did help in their ratings. IIRC, when they were using that slogan they were the news leader. KOMO touted themselves as being a "People's Station" and old KOMO promos and station IDs back then used that quite often.

Sweet, i've lived in the Seattle-Tacoma area all my life and I was 6 when this originally aired. Not only that but this was also the day my little brother was born.
