1991. 16mm film. This was shot before video assist technology was available. You carefully planned the animation and went for it. But you had to wait to get the film processed to see the shot for the first time.

  • I watched this at USC Animation School in 1998 and thought, "Why even try claymation when Hittle is so dope?" Now I teach and a student just today came to me with a plan for a claymation dragon. I thought, "Check out Potato Hunter and see if you think you can step up to that level." Now she is pondering, "Why even try?" ...but we ALL try, harder, because this is so smooth and funny and strong. What a treat to see it again!
