A playthrough of "System Control" (Map01) of Final Doom: TNT Evilution for PC, played through GLBoom-plus. 100% kills, 100% secrets (Max-Kill).

There is little to say about such a small map. It's basic, yet somewhat intricate design has little to seriously worry about dying against and a neat design involving a door that opens up another area by walking to it instead of opening it. Simple and to the point, and a solid map to start off TNT with.

  • Man, watching classic Doom vids again really makes me want to break out Final Doom and the Master levels for doom 2. Doom pack on steam was probably the best purchase i have ever made. So is Evilution the second half then? I guess i mean if you just play Final Doom then will you eventually play all these maps?

  • @koovak I agree with the pack, bought it even though I had some of it already. Evilution is the first half, in order of production. TNT was basically done, then bought by id Software, and Plutonia was added in afterwards. And yeah, I plan on playing all the maps =)

  • @AltimaMantoid Ahhhh i got ya. Yeah I will eventually do vids of them too, Doom 3 is a great game but i miss the fast paced nature of the classic games sometimes. I also miss the super shotgun.

  • @koovak Hopefully they keep their word and Doom 4 brings it back to the fast-paced action... and I still need to play Doom 3.

  • Aww yeah, the between-level music is awesome. I still haven't made it all the way through Evilution, but now that this video has put me in the mood for some serious Doomin', I think I might right that wrong.

Also, I sincerely hope I see an LP of Doom 64 EX from you one day.

  • @esnelpla I love the intermission music. As for Doom 64 (EX), we'll have to wait and see what I can do.

  • The room at 1:23 is the exact same room from Doom2s Entry way. IT looks completely identical.

  • PSX version was October 1st 1996.

    PC version was May 1996.

  • @AafTersheiV Plutonia will be fun ;D

  • @SSX46 Glad you enjoyed it =)

  • @UglyStru As long as you enjoy TNT! I like the first half, the second half... well, you'll hear me bitch =P

  • @97superior Plutonia, like TNT, is part of Final Doom. It's two games. I haven't done Plutonia yet, but I'm sure I'll get around to it...
