Atlas Angel stalls while dropping skydivers

Atlas Angel Gabriel was declared below the minimum safe approach speed on run-in. This led to a stall and subsequent spin. All skydivers exited the aircraft and the pilot recovered the spin and landed the aircraft safely. The matter was reported to the SACAA the pilot involved will be receiving additional training to avoid re-occurrence.
The aircraft has been inspected and no contributing defects were discovered. As a precaution the aircraft is also undergoing a stress analysis.
Hence forth, all Atlas Angel pilots will undergo more intense stall and spin training as part of their initial and bi-annual re-currency training. This will enable pilots to identify and pro-actively correct situations that may result in a stall or spin.

holy fcuk. my stomach is still shaking just watching. i would left the bird asap when turned into downplane. not sure if that is the best but more afraid of being stuck in a coffin like that and not able to reach the doorway... i choose the closest spot on planes always (sometimes my legs are out in chopper flights) i trust my main canopy better than a plane :)

@Airsport1961 he did correct the spin! However this was absolutely not intentional! As a skydive pilot myself, i would never put the skydivers in a situation like that, ever! oh and 3 stripes means co-pilot.

Very scary indeed. Why did the last guys stay with the aircraft so long?
Particularly worrying seeing the plane descending at the same rate, and in the same airspace as the tandem.
