If I stepped off in that hole I would get wet and cottonmouth would bite my ball sack.

@9w2xyz I have riden, and driven one. But i definitly do not know that! Haha

@TheBoarStopper I didnt know that. But it looks cool. Can you tell me how they keep water from getting into the axles and transfer cases? We dont have these things here. And darn, what kinda tires are those?
-
@9w2xyz Really it is the most effective way, an air boat is faster, but a swamp buggy can handle just about anything!
-
Is this the most efficient way to run a swamp? What about airboats? Do the tires on your buggy have suspension? Thanks.

Nice Ride!!!
if the tires are just shy of 5 feet then that hole is only about 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep at the most

Actually the water almost comes over one tire on the deep side of the hole for just a second. Momentum and water displacement cane make the water go above a tire even if the water level is actually a little lower. Still, the water there is over 4 feet at the deepest part of the hole. I walked it. However you are right in that most of the trail at that point is around 2.5 to 3 feet.

Where do you go about buying a swamp buggy?
dpedwards08 2 years ago
Well you can't buy them from General Motors, that's for sure. Most are home made, but there are a few professional builders around and many owners sell their used buggies. Search the internet.
