Just a short (and partially very wrong, as it turned out - better turn off the sound and enjoy the game) opinion on the game 5 of the world chess championship 2008. No deep analyses! Kramnik (white) lost again against Anand (black). The video has not the best speaking quality since I am also in time pressure to do this before game 6. :-)

Please excuse the sometimes not so good english!

PS: I made a mistake, Anand also has white in game 7, so Kramnik must try to win in game 8 and 10. However, at the moment white is a pawn up in game 6 and if Anand will win, Kramnik needs to win in game 8, 10 and 12 and draw in the others. That's almost impossible so it's most likely that Anand will stay world chess champion. Also, in the meantime Anand has won game 6! The world chess championship seems decided now.

  • How can i play snake on at 0:00 ? Got to much bored...

  • @Melachion Pause the video and press the left cursor key. Keep it pressed until Snake appears.

  • so who won? black or white? is that the whole end of the game?

  • @bartektual White gave up after 35...fxe3, the black passed pawn can't be stopped in a good manner. Anand lead 3.5 : 1.5 after the game and after Anand's win in the following game 6 Kramnik only avoided a disaster by winning game 10, losing the match 6.5 : 4.5 in the end.

  • @Lovuschka thanks very much!

  • Game tree complexity of chess (effort to crack the game) is 10^123

  • lol guys black could just won a peace after bishopf3 and pawns i spinned so he is forced to take with queen and then queen takes bishob

  • There are 10^113 possible possitons available on a chessboard whic is a number beyond comprehension.Thats the reason why you wont see a game repeating and u still enjoy every game you watch and play..

  • well.. the computer proved, you don't need to be a good chess player to actually beat a chess player.

  • Nice game
