She was recently sold for scrap because they couldn't find anyone that was interested in leaving her in one piece.

I filled the American Queen's tanks with water when she passed Memphis in 1995 on her maiden voyage and got "blamed" for her running aground near Paducah Ky three days later.

she may look like a box, but she was a steamboat, and it's sad that she went the way she did. Thanks for this video!
