Auckland, New Year 2008/09 - Clash of Cultures

New Year's Eve 2008/09 in downtown Auckland (Queens St x Victoria St).
It was an awesome atmosphere and vibe with all the drumming, dancing and fireworks.
All the Pakehas (New Zealanders of European ancestry) were out of town enjoying their holidays on the beach, leaving AKL in the hands of the true Aucklanders. A multicultural display at its best!

i spend my last 3 or 4 years in auckland city for new years i have to say it was the bomb my best new years will have to be 2009 & 2010 i was in that crowd i couldn't see me & my 2 mate's lol auckland was off the hook.
