@twobeautyspots I Wasnt so much a wigan,im from LIVERPOOL,WE DID GO THEIR BUT ON SCOOTERS ,MOSTLY FOR THE MUSIC AND GETTING TO KNOW PEOPLE FROM OUT OF LIVERPOOL,THERE WAS NO BOOZE ,JUST A FRIENDSHIP IN MUSIC AND THE WAY WE LIVED IE THE STRUGGLE TO GET BY

I'm so jealous that I wasn't born early enough for the Northern Soul era.
Dancing all night with your mates to brilliant music, surrounded by people who love doing it as much as you do AND without the dreaded hangover the next morning sounds like utter bliss.
I'm doing some research into the Northern Soul movement & I've googled many a time the meaning of 'keep the faith' & haven't been able to find a suitable answer. Anyone there who knows the answer & wouldn't mind helping me out?

to those who say ' eff america, NS dancers invented breakdancing' well NS dancers got their moves from copying American GIs no? also to everyone annoyed at the cameras intrusion-when we breakdanced back in the day we didn't like it either but now we're fiending to find old footage of ourselves, if the Casino was on its way out then respects to them for at least trying to capture some of the vibe, love this doc, and love to everyone who KTF and either did or are still 'living for the weekend'
