My second video in the Statistical Fallacies series. Here I talk about the Texas Sharpshooter's Fallacy:
http://wiki.cotch.net/index.php/Texas_Sharpshooter_Fallacy
I also mention the John Snow cholera map:

I'm sorry but during the compressing and editing, a couple words got snipped off, but I think you can get the gist of what I'm saying.
With all the Tebow hoopla, this may be getting a few more views.

Hey Javier, I saw this vid a while ago, and I just uploaded my own version of the texas sharpshooter fallacy critisizing creationism/ID. Check it out, please/thx! =D
One of my examples was a million people raffle. The raffle is drawn (randomly),and Judy wins. But Dan says"the chances of Judy winning is million to 1. there's no way she could've won randomly. She cheated!" Of course this is irrational. The chances of anyone winning is a million to 1 and Dan can accuse anyone of cheating.

This reminded me of some things I learned from beginner statistics course - probability of mistake in statistical results. I comprehended (it took some time although) and absolutely adored the way it was laid out. I've just discovered it is called Bayesian probability.
