  • @robthebloke yeah that sound right you still spent hours trying to get it loaded but, had an amstrad 464 green monitor myself but,the game that stuck in my head was knight lore and elite, love these vids !

  • Im 40-year old, morbidly obese with diabetes, Im on my second divorce and the kids dont want to see me thank god for my speccy emulator, my alcohol induced state and these you tube clips to take me back to my youth - carefree and simple; if I only knew then, I would have taken the pills..

  • I used to have the Interface 2 with Jet Pac Rom :) Wished I had kept It :(

  • Long live the Speccy

  • Always wondered what that slot was for on Interface 2, now I know.

  • they only existed very briefly in 1982.

  • I dont remember spectrums having rom cartridges. My first speccy was a 128k that i bugged my mum and dad to buy me for months i finally got 1 on christmas day and from what i remember for the games they were on cassetes and usually crashed after 40 minutes of whining noise to load.

    I think you'll find 15 is correct!

    Even though there was :-

white, yellow, cyan, green, blue, red, magenta, and black.

Using the BRIGHT command on the symbol shift of the B button on the 6 colours white,

yellow, cyan, green, blue, red and magenta would in effect give you another 6 variations of that colour but with a different contrast.

Im assuming that even though there were only 8 colours you could achieve a total of 15 using this BRIGHT function.

  • my dad ruined my first speccy by connecting the interface with the power on! i havent totally forgiven him to this day...

  • 8 colours , not 15 !
