ASC 1's main event of the evening between another hometown boy and Team Burgess member Nate "The Future" Lamotte (10-4) and veteran Doug "Flash" Gordon (9-7). The round opened as expected, as the wrestler Lamotte was able to secure a takedown and slam Gordon into the mat. A quick scramble led the men back to their feet, but not for long. As Lamotte went for another takedown, Gordon was able to wrap his arm around Lamotte's neck and secure a tight guillotine, forcing Lamotte to tap as soon as they hit the ground. Gordon improves to 10-7 with the first round victory.
