could i use any synthetic suede instead of facile/ultrasuede?

Yes synthetic suede is the same as facile or ultra suede. Many names for the same fabric. Be sure to feel the fabric first because some are too thick and some are too thin. To thick is not as bad as too thin, though.

This material can be found through any internet search engine by looking up facile, ultra suede, or ultra suede light. Finding the best material is a journey. You would need to order a set of swatches first and pick out the colors and thickness your want. Too thin will tear easy so start with a little bit thicker material first. Oh and ask for scraps too. Scraps can make some nice bags to help you get started.

This is not the way to draw a equilateral triangle. It is done by compass. Way more easy and with absolute accuracy. Trig, Trig Trig....:)

Is denim (as in like soft/broken in denim) a good material to use? I haven't seen anyone say wether it is or isn't.

im making my first hack after watchin this vid, except im doing a 12 pattern pentagons, dodechahedron i think. anyways, im a lil over half done using this vid as a guide, there are no good how to sew footbags, this is a wonderful first for me.
