omg I'm still deciding between two lower jaw surgeries to have and those wires holding your mouth together look terrifying. What was the worst part of them?

There is no reason to be hungry. None whatsoever.

i need this same surgery and i wasn't going to get it becuase the dr. told me that you lose feeling in your face for a while, and sometimes you lose feeling permanatly. did you lose any feeling at all?

@alyssacmu07 Yes, it's possible to have a permanent loss of feeling in a spot or two on your face, but it's relatively rare from my experience and hearing others experiences. As with any surgery, there are definitely risks, but for me personally, it has been 100% worth it, and I was lucky enough to regain all my feeling.

I definitely lost weight, nearly 20 pounds in the first two weeks.
You can see pictures of the before and after weight at FitBuff (dot) com - then click on "About Me" at the top.
