  • thanks, does the reader READ to them? If I got this for a 4 yr old, would it read the books to her? and as she grows, she'd be able to read them to herself?

  • @CRYST2SHELL Yes, the books have options to have a nararator to read them alloud, or you can read them on their own

  • Hey there. Is there anyway you guys could go over the downloading of the "ebooks"?

  • @twiztdskitz With this unit you do not download ebooks, you have to buy them on cartridges. each ebook is is own cartidge.

  • great educational device for kids, saw this selling on a website called MYLILTOYBOX for as low as $32.00

  • @goodereader I own this, and using the usb cord and the Learning Lodge Navigator you can download and install ebooks... but it is a very limited library... in fact you get 3 books free with each deviced purchased

  • @maggiea291 its next to the batteries.. if you open the slot to the batteries you can see that there is a slot for the sd card.

  • @goodereader there is books that you can download. just plug in the unit to your computer and install the software that it comes with and it will give you the option to buy books and put them on your sd card...

  • great review, the Vtech reader has now launched in europe. i was wondering my daughter is bi lingual dutch and English i wondered would the nederlands reader be compatible with english language cartridges?
