  • I really dont see anything that bad with this, I only dont like the fact that it is so basic for a nicer place.

  • @JonElevator This is the best one there.

  • what is so crappy about this elevator it looks basic yes but theres nothing bad about it except stealable egg lanterns

  • @crapper1 It was rough, you can hear it banging around in the shaft a bit if you listen (over the obnoxious fan, that is)

  • Why do some elevators jerk really badly then bounce a little a bit when they stop because there are some in the Westfield centre (commonly known as the broadmarsh) in nottingham if you live round there don't use it because i spilt my drink because of that lift

  • @JonElevator I agree. It really isn't that bad.

  • OTIS really needs to follow KONE and stop making hydraulics, since their hydro quality has dropped in such a big way.

  • Basic Series 5 elevator. But I do like the art work on the door.

  • 6 story hydro...geesh. It would've been better if it was traction.

  • Also, these are using a new door lock. Otis is starting to use a European-style (AMD?) door lock instead of the class 6940A which has been used for decades.

  • Well at least they have done away with the noisy fan!
