Here is another video with some historical pictures. No, I did not take the majority of them myself, obviously (except for the one of my father), nor do I actually own any of them in hardcopy. But I did think that you all would enjoy that since many of you seemed to like the Mill Creek Park video so well. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed making it!
One of the most underrated Bruce songs ever. I grew up in Warren (right next door) so it is not surprising I appreciate it.
I shared it with a bunch of people I grew up with and the reaction I got was surprising. I heard "Bruce did no favors to the area by writing that song".
He did me a favor. This video, and the song, express something in a way I can't. But wish I could have.

Fantastic...Dad worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 20 some years. He had me spend one summer there in the hotstrip, so I would learn there were better things to do. I had two uncles working at the Vindicator. I don't regret in the least my childhood spent in Youngstown and Poland!

My great grandfather worked in the steel mills there back in 1917 and retired in the '50's. NEVER WAS HIS JOB THREATEND OR DID HE LOSE IT. Isn't it disgusting what has happened to American industry since the late 70's?
