  • @paulhasarrived hello, american currency has failed twice already... at least twice, obviously this is some kind of uninformed response.

  • Paulhasarrived - poor bastard.

  • Hey you haters, where is the collapse? I know you all would love to see the U.S. die. But the one thing you forget is that the American people will not allow this to happen. We are all direct descendents of those who stand up against govt when they are being screwed. We won't let them take our country. Sorry to all of you from europe who allowed your currency to become a continental currency. I don't see the American people allowing that to happen.

  • "you would have to convince them to suddenly 'stop using dollars'. Your's is a beautiful idea but sadly we don't live in that type of society."

    Sadly, we will. Very soon.

  • "Countries in Asia such as Japan, China, Taiwan, etc. have started to diversify away from US Treasuries and the US dollar"

China is also getting a little ticked at america's arrogance in the face of what it has done to the world. The Chinese military is beginning to show it. Check CNN.

  • Really? May you cite your source. I want to read it or hear it myself.

  • Countries in Asia such as Japan, China, Taiwan, etc. have started to diversify away from US Treasuries and the US dollar

  • you would have to convince them to suddenly 'stop using dollars'. Your's is a beautiful idea but sadly we don't live in that type of society.

Actually ;) people in Germany were doing that once the Reich mark went to shit, so hopefully if the US gets that bad we'll all give the finger to the dollar :)

  • I wonder... why don't communities and people just refuse to deal in dollars? Cut off their natural resources, and demand tangible assets.

  • The wealth in China will be distributed like the wealth in the US. Lots of homeless people here too. The poor and middle class will suffer worldwide.
