  • I love Ian McNabb and Icicle Works, but I have to say that this performance is unimpressive.

  • No mate, sorry - you're wrong. This is fucking AWFUL. McNabb sounds like he's singing in a bucket, and the drums?? Jesus Christ, Chris Sharrock would be spinning in his grave, if he was dead. I adore The Icicle Works but this is an absolute travesty....

  • Now listen to the original here on youtube-the rythm and beat just do not fit on this

  • read all the other comments.. but this is just sad.. thru and thru.

My garage band could've done better.. 10 years ago... half loaded

  • travesty? ... this is a gawd awful mess! If it wasn't McNabb these people would have been thrown off stage! I've seen this before with some of the greatest talented 80's bands. This is called, "I"m drunk and wasted and couldn't give a **ck" about you people and this music! Very sad!

  • i play this song better than he wrote it saddly

  • I travelled 3 hrs to knowsley to see about 20 minutes of this and other lazily played arse. I'm afraid the drummer turned this song into a slapstick nightmare on the whole tour, it needs to be on the beat and energetic not lazy and sloppy. Wasn't all bad tho they can still play when they can be arsed

  • You lot are confusing bad sound quality with poor performance. This was a typiclly fantastic McNabb performance massacred by crap picture and sound quality on this clip. He's always done the Magic Bus interlude. So what if he didn't attempt the high notes here - if you want perfection listen to the record. This was live and real.

  • Must be the camera man or nearby audience singing like that .Can't believe he's spoiling like this one of the best songs ever. cheers
