I didn't know who Geoff Johns was then and for me the title had run dry for years before he got on it. People like him why why people who left took notice again. I didn't care for the Busiek run at all. Great art, shitty stories. Davis good art but his story input is always the same.

Bendis did what Johns does in DC. Takes apart a great thing and puts it back together again, only better.

That is your opinion and this is mine.

Huh? are you kidding me???? Before Disassembled there was Geoff Johns/Olivier Coipel and before that there was Kurt Busiek/George Perez/Alan Davis and those runs were FAR superior to Bendis's overly decompressed run.

God, I don't know how people are still buying Loeb's Hulk. Its the worst comic Marvel is putting out there. People complain about Bendis? Try to read Hulk and not cringe or think "That looks/sounds stupid". I'll agree, Bendis' Avengers books have been lacking lately, but wow, what happened to Jeph Loeb?!

What you said about the Avengers brand was spot on and I feel the same. The last few years before DIsassembled made me crave for some John Byrne Avengers again.

Love me some Loeb and McGuinness :)

LOL, I am doing a Secret Invasion video series and I gotta say, all his words saying the same thing over and over really make a 3-4 video storyline comic series into a fricken 20 parter.

But, I am starting to like, The Hood alot more. Finally :P

Loeb is really phoning it in on the hulk, just an awful comic.

Speaking of awful comics theres bendis on New Avengers. The guy is great at writing crime stuff like Powers but his shtick is oooooold when it comes to NA. I realllllly don't want to have to read 5 issues of a book that tell 2 issues worth of story, I don't want to read an avengers book thats 14 pages of them sitting around eating chinese food like the last issue.

At least MA is pretty decent ha
