Chandelier for a Fish, 2009

High School students created site drawings and working as groups designing proposals for the Chandelier for a Fish. After defending their proposals, the final design was built and fine-tuned by the students. They elected to suspend the chandelier over a pond recently developed by Science Department for a study of its eco system. The quiet beauty of the pond is contrasted and challenged by the looming spiral of plastic bottle parts that spins above.
