  • Duane Allman is one of my favourite guitar players, too bad the man died.

By the way, Berry Oakley was a GREAT bass player as well, too bad that an ignorant person doesn't know much about him, probably someone capable of creating something like Black Hearted Woman, you (sspssiws) are probably genius, now go to mtv with a bass cos music NEEDS someone like you to be labelled as the best bassist ever, GO ON "d00d", get your credits and save the image that bass players are useless.

  • why would any half wit retard try to talk shit about this untouchable tune

  • i still get goosebumps now as i did in 71 hearin these cats.saw them in nola new years eve w duane and barry man was i ever blessed. they played at the warehouse and played all nite.there jams are legendary.and as with any good band u have to get all the records and listen to the music that would never hit the air. think of what they created and the age they did it. first time i saw them jackson ms they drove old whipped van set there own stage tuned and played as u watched.

  • @Dudisse by the time I was done listening to Live at Filmore I knew I had to look up this bass player.

  • No room in the collective popular consciousness for this kind of music. Rock? I guess. Out of bounds? Certainly. Too tasteful, too adroit, too much musicianship, here. Hmm. I'd say the same about "Yes." There's a comparison!

  • @Popebill, my sentiments EXACTLY. A true masterpiece!

  • If this does not make you cry you have no heart, these are southern boys in their 20's who channeled this song from beyond.

  • Thanks so much for that! Looks like a lot of people think that a song called "Dreams I've Never Seen" is a Molly Hatchett song, really! I bought this album when it came out, and it was my introduction to the AB, and to Duane Allman's greatness.

  • Duane Allman was in a place while playing this song...man i wish i get there someday

  • Duane Allman-THE GuitarGod-PERIOD !

  • duane = THE greatest guitarist.
