  • Lol @ Andy Summers just as Copelans saays "now.." he comes out with "We're old and Arrogant" probably not far off.

I love the Police I really do but I'm afraid I cant stand Sting, his vanity/ego shines through....

Copeland seems about the only one thats really happy to be there... Summers is a bit "world weary" with it all.

    Good stuff

  • Fucking Sting, me me me. What a cock!!

  • OK I know this is just opening night & they would most likely get better as the tour progressed, but I had always heard that they were not a great band live & this kind of confirms this for me. I personally don't think they sound that great here. I have seen Sting recently & he is one of the few from his era that still sounds good & can hit the notes, but here he sounds bad.

  • Copeland was completely right and into it, and I love how he acts on the couch, such an intense moment....and uplifting.

  • I love them all, I missed the tour, and it is so depressing, like a bad dream, I understand it being hard with the conflict and emotion, so much beyond them conflicts, the best music I know this is my favorite band! They all have so much talent and I don't know people who can come together and make such beautiful music Sting and The Police are unique. Sting was a bit eccentric, a bit selfish, Andy was torn between Copeland and Sting's conflicts, it's a shame for it to end. Copeland best Drummer.

  • nothing can compare police of the 80´s with this...... sting voice today is a sh...

  • Dont be hatin',Sting is God.

  • @freeloader67 Always was, apparently, lol. Have to wonder what he would've been like if The Police had never happened & he'd basically stayed a school teacher who sat in on jazz jam sessions at the local pub?

  • @GrandDuke3600 According to some, they actually attempted to re-do "Truth Hits Everybody" to release as new product, but almost immediately Sting & Copeland started to go at each other, as they did years ago when the band re-did "Don't Stand So Close to Me" in '86.

THAT pretty much killed any attempt at continuing beyond the tour.

  • @asm1 lol, if Summers is 'world weary' its b/c he's had the luck of usually being between both Copeland & Sting. In interviews around the time of the tour & in his bio, he's basically had to 'put up' w/ the other 2's personalities in order to enjoy the thrill of being in a band. I wouldn't be surprised if, around the time of the interview, he had to 'deal' again, lol.

  • Als wären sie nie weggewesen.

  • earnest+pretentious+crochet jumper+ A FUCKING BERET=COMPLETE COCK
