Wow...when I was in 2nd grade our teacher had us play this game, one rainy day inside the classroom. There were several 'game' stations to choose from, from card games to board games to other things. She must have added stuff to the game, cause the reward for winning the game was to wear a tiara and a feather boa and wand, till you lost the next game then you were out and others got to play it. Unfortunately for me, I had never played the game before and it was too crowded and not enough time

The secret about Candyland, is (Lowers voice to a whisper): It's not a game - it's a teaching tool to help children learn colors and linear path progression disguised as a game. Shh . . . Don't tell anyone. I have a feeling I may be playing with my 2 year old daughter later on today.

Your kids are bouncing off the walls. . . I wager the reason is becuase you fead them so much candy and you do it as if throwing meat to a pack of dogs. :) Where is the mom. She would not approve.
