I was being culturized by my roommate in Queens, NY. It's authentic Trinidadian cuisine. The bean looking things are chana and the sauce put on it I cannot say or spell, sorry. Trinidadian curry was added too, I think. Nonetheless, they tasted fantastic!

  • no way, this is not how you make doubles.at least not in Trini,it never touches a table or counter top, spread out and all that,by the time you get this,it's already cold ass hell.

  • This had to be in the US cause dat man too slow on de doubles ... hahaha. He would never last in Curepe. Everything there looks good though ... mmmmmm

  • Channa is chick peas

  • The sauce is curry and tamrind based, and the doubles itself is called a barra. Hope that you liked it!
