Have you read Michael: "A History of Catholic Antisemitism: The Dark Side of the Church". How about Luther's "On the Jews and Their Lies"?

Those are some of the books which, if read and understood, may give the reader at least a partial answer as to why antisemitism has been so persistent in the European ethos throughout centuries.

Indeed I do. Actually what I wrote about Poland having been a safe heaven for Jews mainly applies to late middle ages. Pogroms and severe persecution followed later.

You seem to be misrepresenting my words.

I specifically wrote earlier that the Goldhagen book is flawed.

Historians have almost unanimously found it to be flawed because his monocausal approach is inadequate and incorrect. He is also picking up evidence which suits his needs whilst omitting evidence which contradicts it, even within the same sources, which means that he simply isn't objective.

I am sorry but it is quite impossible to address this kind of hallucinatory and derogatory arguments and assume that the person who makes them is mentally sound.

Your arguments could very well be direct quotes from Mein Kampf and anyone who has read it would certainly make the same observation because their similarity is impossible not to see.

Jews from western Europe fled persecution to Poland. At one time, 80% of the entire world's Jews lived in Poland.
