  • @terrdl28 hey how tight is that fit in between the resonator and cats? I was just looking under my car and it looks like any clearence i have might be taken away...got any pics?

  • who makes the cutouts??? i want to get some for my vette

  • I had cutouts on my 94... They're a funny little trick to have at a light.. Had a guy in a camaro try to out "loud" me... I gave him a quiet rev at the first light and at the second light I flipped the switch and reved and I could see the guy jump wen I did!... They're great to have.

  • Makes it sound so badass :).

  • @mapexmaster1992 I just installed cutouts in my '92 Vette after the cats and before resonator. Even that is a tight fit. I had Fair Muffler do the work and they cut out the original pipe and welded it in. My friend and I did the wiring. I got DMH Performance Electronic Low Profile Exhaust Cut Outs for $399 delivered.

  • its like a bypass pipe right after the cats that opens up so it makes it sound like it has dumps i think lol im not to positive im just runnin dumps

  • What is a cutout and what does it do?

  • how much do u want do accept trades?

  • Nice, sounds great!

Where did you put the cutouts? Did you weld them? Is it easy to do/ possible to do without a welder?

  • Sounds pretty decent. I got a '92 vette that is bone stock w/ 40k miles. I'm toying with the notion of throwing some cut outs on it. I was curious as to where you put yours. There isn't much room inbetween the manifold and the cats... so i was thinking mayb after the cats and before the resonator. Also, i was wondering if you got cut offs that overlapped the original pipe and then welded, or just got the same size pipe and weled it in??? I'd appreciate any help i can get, thanks.
