A short test of an OpenMoco time-lapse engine prototype. Using a Pentax K10D, Tamron Adapt-all 80-250 macro lens, and magnifying class. Pan unit is a small NEMA-15 stepper with 120:1 worm gearing, with a Manfrotto 410 geared tripod head attached. Video shows three close pans at speeds of 5, 10, and 3 microsteps/frame (0.009 deg, 0.018 deg, and 0.0056 deg). Pan starts and stops are controlled by keyframes and actions.
